Colour Theory Valentines Day Collection | Review & Favourite Products ♡

Sunday, February 14, 2016

Whether you're going out on a romantic date or staying in with your bae (aka Netflix), Colour Theory has the perfect Valentine's Day Red-y collection!

In the collection you will find some beautiful Cream Lipsticks, Nail Polishes, Lip Crayons and a Lip Liner all in stunning shades of Red.

'Red-y Steady Go' Lip Liner - $6 each

This creamy lip liner is easy to apply and easy to remove, it's also very pigmented and it's outside packaging is true to it's real colour. I was surprised at how much it made a difference to the staying power of my Red lipstick that I applied over the top!

Jumbo Lip Crayons - $8 each

This wasn't the first time I'd tried these, I actually wrote a different blog post about them including swatches, which sadly I couldn't do this time. So for more in depth info about those feel free to check out my other blog post about Colour Theory's Christmas Collection! These are very moisturising and creamy on the lips, the colour is also very buildable. Overall a very pretty, simple & easy to use lip crayon.

Cream Lipsticks - $6 each

The Cream Lipsticks are my favourite! The first thing I noticed was the clean, modern looking packaging/tube of the Lipstick. The clear tubes make it easy to see all of the beautiful shades and also looks great on display. My favourite shade of Lipstick was 'Siren', a beautiful berry toned classic Red! The other three shades in the collection are 'Flirt Alert' a pretty bright orange-y toned red, 'Catwalk' a gorgeous fuchsia toned red and 'Show Stopper' a classic true red colour! The staying power of these lipsticks is incredible and I would highly recommend them.

I used two of my favourite Colour Theory lip products for a Valentine's Day Get Ready With Me on my YouTube Channel! You can watch it down below, or head over to my channel.
